Winter Fur

Monday, February 17, 2014

Although stores and boutiques are filling their racks with Spring pastels, light dresses, sandals, and shorts, I'm still stuck in winter mode. Maybe it has something to do with the freezing temperatures and all the snow that has been sweeping the nation these past few weeks. I'm just not quite ready to start filling my closet with what Spring has to offer. All I want to do is wrap myself up in warm sweaters, coats, and in this case, fur! I thrifted this faux fur coat last weekend on a trip to Fort Smith and couldn't be more happy that I shelled out the $25 for this bad boy. What a steal!

The feather necklace below is made by another talented friend of mine, Christy Bourns, owner and creator of Robinson Lane and the oh-so-popular Johnny Cash necklace .
It's the perfect layering necklace and I adore it.
